Hello there! I'm Roland, a dedicated 20-year-old computer science student and a junior software developer who spends an awful lot of time in front of a computer screen. I'm always eager to learn new things and improve my skills.
Here's a rainbow of programming languages I'm trying to learn and master:
Ruby Java JavaScript C# TypeScript Python PHP Kotlin
Started out with C# considering it is a fairly intuitive and easy to learn language. This made me get used to strongly typed languages and I still find it the easiest to write code in.
Moving towards web development, I started learning JavaScript and PHP, however it was TypeScript which I found to be very interesting and fun to work with. This is how I got into the world of web development. Currently working with Angular, learning Django alongside Python and trying to explore as much as possible about full-stack development.
I'm a gamer at heart. My favourite games are racing games, but I also enjoy playing shooters and RPGs. Most of my projects are based on games, as I find them to be the most fun to work on. They are a great way to learn new things, improve thinking and problem-solving skills, and they are a great way to show off creativity.
Took me a while to build myself a nice setup, but I'm finally happy with it. And no, there is no such thing as too many monitors, there is always need for more space on the screen, especially when you are working with frameworks like Angular, Django, React or Ruby on Rails.
